Aadhaar card or Aadhaar number
Required: 12-digit Aadhaar number or card (physical, mAadhaar, or eAadhaar)
Cost: Free
If you don't have your physical card, download eAadhaar from myaadhaar.uidai.gov.in or use the mAadhaar app
Proof of identity (for name or date of birth update)
Required: Original and copy — passport, PAN card, voter ID, or driving license
Cost: Free
Only required if you're updating your name, date of birth, or gender. For address-only updates, identity proof is not needed
Proof of address (for address update)
Required: Original and copy — utility bill, bank statement, rent agreement, passport
Cost: Free
For online address updates, you can use Address Validation Letter (sent to your new address by UIDAI) or Aadhaar-linked documents in DigiLocker
