High-assurance electronic ID via ID-porten
Accepted eIDs for adult login at helsenorge.no: BankID (including BankID on mobile), Buypass ID (smart card or mobile), and Commfides e-ID
Gateway: ID-porten — the federal authentication gateway operated by Digdir
MinID is not accepted for adult login at helsenorge.no; the portal requires a high-assurance level of identity assurance for adult access to health records and the fastlege-management service.
Europeisk helsetrygdkort (EHIC)
European Health Insurance Card
Issuing body: Helfo (Helseøkonomiforvaltningen) for Norwegian residents; the equivalent home-country authority issues the EHIC presented by inbound EU/EEA visitors
Use: Documents folketrygd-coverage portability when a Norwegian resident travels temporarily in another EEA state; on the inbound side, documents an EEA visitor's home-country coverage when receiving necessary care at Norwegian public providers
S1-blankett
S1 certificate (cross-border-worker entitlement)
Issuing body: Helfo
Use: Documents the right to healthcare in the country of residence for a worker on Norwegian payroll who resides in another EEA state, or in Norway for a posted worker covered by a home-country social-security regime
PD A1-blankett
PD A1 form (applicable social-security legislation)
Issuing body: The competent social-security authority of the worker's home country (or of the country whose legislation continues to apply)
Submitted to: NAV (Arbeids- og velferdsetaten) in Norway
Use: Establishes that home-country social-security contributions continue and that Norwegian social-security contributions are not due for the posting period
