Getting a Health Card via PHCC for Non-Qatari Residents in Qatar

Qatar ID (QID)
Required for: All applicants, adult and dependant
Validity floor: Minimum one year of remaining QID validity required for the digital channel
The PHCC Register New Health Card e-service explicitly requires the QID to have at least one year of remaining validity. If yours expires within twelve months, renew the residence permit and QID at the Ministry of Interior first before applying for the health card.

Passport-size photograph
Required for: In-person registration at a PHCC health centre
Specification: 4 cm × 3 cm
One photograph is collected at first issue and held on file. In-person renewal at HMC cashiers requires a passport-size photo only if one is not already on record.

Proof of residential address
Accepted: Recent Kahramaa (electricity/water) bill, telecoms bill, or registered rental contract
Used for: Assigning the catchment PHCC primary-care centre
Your assigned PHCC health centre is determined by the residential address on the supporting document. Keep a digital copy ready for upload during the Nar'aakom flow, or bring a printed copy for in-person registration.

Credit or debit card for the fee
Required: Cash is not accepted at any PHCC or HMC cashier for health-card transactions
Amount: QR 100 for a non-Qatari adult resident new card or annual renewal
Bring a working card; PHCC and HMC do not accept cash or cheque for health-card fees.
